On a way more technical side, there are calculations you can perform to convert Munsell to RGB. To use the Munsell color coordinates, a transformation has to be developed to change RGB color coordinates into the Munsell system. If you work with sedimentary core data that has a lot of soil-like material in it (such as glacial deposit stratigraphy), you may have wanted to know the RGB values for all those Munsell soil colors so you can make accurate logs using Excel stacked column graphs, Adobe Illustrator, or the like.
